Here at Shack Simple we are proud to announce the forthcoming publication of what we believe is an important book, and one that we hope will have an important influence on public policy. In this insightful, clear and entertaining riff on Henry George's seminal work on land reform and land taxation, Progress and Poverty, Lars A Doucet examines the hidden role of land in shaping our entire economy, and the way that land and the policies that govern it exercise an incredible and largely forgotten power over our lives.
